At ZenOffice, we are a fast-growing and ambitious company. We are looking for a talented and experienced Marketing Executive to join our busy marketing department. This is an exciting role for the right candidate who thrives in a dynamic and challenging but fun work environment. The position will cover maternity leave for 12 months, and there is potential for the role to become permanent.
This is a full mix marketing and communications role, working closely with the Head of Marketing. While guidance and direction are offered, there is plenty of scope to generate and drive new ideas so the candidate must be able to take the initiative and make things happen. You will help propel the company products and solutions forward and increase market share and brand awareness in this competitive industry. This job will suit someone with lots of drive and enthusiasm and who has experience of working with sales teams. You will relish juggling many tasks and duties at the same time to ensure delivery within the deadlines.
There is a high element of design work in this role and candidates will need to be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, in particular InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. A creative individual, you will be full of ideas for your next campaign and able to write compelling content.
ZenOffice consists of seven divisions. Six of the divisions are focused on business supplies, with the seventh division being The MPS Team. Experience of working across several distinct divisions or services would be advantageous, as would knowledge of Managed Print Services or marketing a technical service or solution.
Responsibilities:
- End to end management and production of a full range of marketing collateral to support sales activities, including brochures, eshots, newsletters, blogs, social media posts, press releases, web landing pages, direct mail, etc.
- Create and implement marketing campaigns to increase sales opportunities.
- Ensure website content is up to date via WordPress.
- Utilise social media to support business goals.
- Responsible for the design and print production of various hard copy catalogues and brochures.
- Liaise with suppliers including printers, promotional gift companies and event organisers.
- Ensure all marketing is consistent with brand management guidelines.
- Work with sales teams and suppliers to design and provide ZenOffice branded promotional gifts, calendars, wall planners, etc.
- Organise internal and external events.
- Manage and organise our varied charity and CSR activities.
Requirements of the role:
- Minimum of 4 years of marketing experience (preferably in a B2B environment).
- A marketing-related degree or qualification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and WordPress is essential.
- Knowledge of HubSpot and Microsoft Teams would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience of marketing Managed Print Services or a technical service or solution is highly desirable.
- Experience across the full marketing mix, including digital, social media and print.
- Strong content creation, copywriting and blog writing skills.
- Knowledge of design and print processes.
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and cope with changing priorities.
- Strong aptitude in administration required.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships.
- Have bags of initiative.
- Outstanding organisational skills and ability to operate under tight deadlines.
- Team player.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- A strong broadband connection at home as you will be working with large file sizes.

We’re currently seeking a results driven individual to work within our team in a field sales role. The ideal candidate will have several years’ B2B field sales experience in a solutions driven IT, telecommunications, managed print services or document management role.
The role involves developing and growing a customer base within a defined geographical territory, supported by a dedicated lead generation team as well as being aligned to a dedicated Office Supplies Team.
You will sell a range of hardware to include photocopiers, scanners, printers, multi-functional printers and all related document / print management software solutions.
This role is 70% new business focused. Utilising a solution focused approach, you will fact find, establish needs and then sell to those needs by offering a ‘value added’ solution.
You’ll need to meet the following essential skills and criteria:
- At least 3 years B2B field sales experience in a solutions driven IT / telecommunications / managed print services / document management role
- Must be great at establishing a need and then offering a value-added solution by following a sales process through to a close using great closing skills (if you sell only on price then you will not be right for the role)
- You must be a great new business hunter as well as having excellent account management skills
- Must have a stable career history and a proven track record of success
- Must be very consultative in your ‘selling style’
- You will be customer focused, great at building trust and relationships and then maintaining those relationships
- Have great work ethics
- Hard working, resilient and driven
- You need to be polished and have great business acumen
- You must have a great personality, able to build rapport easily and have excellent communication skills
